After being entered into a competition by son Charley to win a dream wedding, Sarah and John finally got married.
Charley saw the competition (for NHS heroes to win a dream wedding worth £100,000) in his gran’s Hello Magazine who were running it in partnership with Bridelux Official and immediately set about writing the winning entrance letter so, of course, I had to make sure he played a major role in the ceremony and he rose to the occasion with aplomb.
Not only did he walk his mum up the aisle with his grandad, but he also took part in the blessing of the rings, ring exchange and a sand pouring. All very poignant parts in the ceremony which he did with ease and the confidence of a grown up. What was also particularly lovely about the ceremony was that Sarah’s sister and brother in law were able to join the ceremony via facetime all the way from Australia.
Our wedding was not only the most important day of our lives but also one of the best and that was in part down to Jennifer Patrice our celebrant. The first time we met Jennifer she put us both at ease and we knew that the service was going to be something really special. The way that Jennifer had planned the service made us both realise that we shared some of the pivotal points in our relationship that lead us to our wedding day even though we hadn't talked about it. Jennifer knew what was really important to us and made sure that even Sarah’s sister and brother in law who were caught up in Sydney’s lockdown could be part of it!
Jennifer knew what was really important to us
Thank you Jennifer for a truly beautiful and unforgettable service
