We recently worked with Jennie on a special wedding for a lovely NHS couple, who won the wedding of their dreams as part of an amazing competition in collaboration with HELLO magazine.
Jennie went to extraordinary lengths to ensure the ceremony was incredibly personal and unique to them. Jennie took time to get to know them and understand what made them tick.
Having worked with many Celebrants over the years, I’ve not come across one who works at this level of detail and who’s also willing to help out where needed on the day.

She was the only celebrant that we wanted to do our big day. From the moment we first spoke to her, she was attentive and caring. So patient on the phone, as we had a lot of questions. Then when we had our first meeting, it honestly felt like we’d met several times before, conversation flowed easily, and she gave us the best piece of advice which stuck in our minds. To switch off just before the wedding and take a mini break, and that’s exactly what we did. We’d been talking about wedding planning so much, that it was nice to not think about it for a while.
And then the ceremony, my goodness it was amazing! Who thought a wedding ceremony could be such fun! There was so much laughter and love in that room, cultivated by Jennifer setting the tone. She worked beautifully with the pastor who did the blessing. And seamlessly incorporated our loved ones who are no longer here. Loads of our guests commented on how great she was, and lots got to tell her in person as she stayed throughout the day with us.
We’re so grateful, we love how we still get messages of support from her. And most of all how wonderfully kind she is.
We truly love everything that Jennifer did for us.

She was so calm, kind and genuinely invested in our wedding ceremony. We met her at a wedding fair and knew instantly that we wanted her to marry us.
Always available and extremely quick at responding, Jennifer Patrice guided us through all aspects of the preparations including offering us options that we had never thought of but turned out to be exactly what we wanted. She is such a warm and welcoming person who exudes kindness and joy. She really helped us with the order of our ceremony and made a bespoke service especially for us. Even during the lead up to the wedding offering us tickets to an exhibition at the British Library as she knew we would be interested.
We would highly recommend Jennifer Patrice for your big day. She made ours so special and made us feel very loved. Communication was always excellent, her professionalism meant that we knew everything was under control and the ceremony itself was pure magic. We cannot thank you enough for all that you did for us!

It was the best decision we made choosing her as our Celebrant for our wedding last month. Her care, compassion, thoughtfulness and attention to detail went above and beyond our wildest dreams, she put so much effort and special little touches into our ceremony. It really made our day and set things off to the perfect start.
So many of our guests had only experienced church weddings or civil ceremonies and they were blown away by how personal, heartwarming, touching and funny our ceremony was! Jennifer made the whole process so incredibly easy and has it down to a fine art so there was zero stress. On the day itself she was such a calming presence for both of us. She was fantastic when I arrived, explaining exactly what would happen next to myself and my bridesmaid, which was really reassuring.
Jennifer even had our readings beautifully printed and the most thoughtful gift for us. She is a complete professional moving out of the shot for our first kiss and giving us amazing tips to make everything run smoothly. Jennifer was brilliant when it came to making suggestions and how we could incorporate our loved ones into the ceremony.

Jennie conducted our wedding ceremony. She is a warm, calm, friendly and reassuring presence and a lovely person to be around.
The ceremony was very personal and emotional and Jennie really succeeded in making it a family occasion by including our children throughout.

We chose Jennie to perform our wedding ceremony in Hook, Hampshire in September 2022 and couldn't be more glad that we did.
Jennie was absolutely incredible, from the very first contact, to subsequent emails, phone calls, as well as in-person meeting, and ultimately at our wedding itself. Jennie got to know us both and took time to understand us and our background and could bring a personal touch to our day.

Our wedding was not only the most important day of our lives but also one of the best and that was in part down to Jennifer Patrice, our celebrant.
The way that Jennifer had planned the service made us both realise that we shared some of the pivotal points in our relationship that lead us to our wedding day even though we hadn't talked about it.

She had the brilliant idea of adding a champagne toast at the end which was such a lovely touch and made our ceremony feel really unique. All of our guests have since told us that it was the best ceremony they've ever been to, and we have to agree!
Jennie made us feel so calm and relaxed throughout the process, and she really understood us and what we had in mind for our ceremony to make it personalised for us and our families.

Unfortunately Covid delayed our wedding by 2 years and we did the legal ceremony in 2021, but we were only allowed 6 people (including us, and our 6 month old!)
We wanted to have a special ceremony to say our vows and exchange rings in front of our families and friends.
Jennie provided such a memorable ceremony, her attention to the details that we’d mentioned to her previously made it even more special to us on the day. We had lost someone very close to us not long before and Jennie included them in the ceremony with tact and without taking the focus off us.
I could go on for hours about all of the special moments she placed into our ceremony, but all I can say is that it was perfection and exactly what we wanted/had asked for.
